Last night I was driving home from taking my civil service exam and I was able to catch a sermon on the radio.
I caught it in the middle, so I'm not certain who was preaching, or what the title even was.
But I like it. It was all about giving praise for EVERYTHING. If you hate your job, if you are broke, if you hate your house, if your husband irritates you....GIVE PRAISE for it.
God cannot bring you greatness until you do this. You must surrender all to him, otherwise he will keep these irritations and bad things so that you seek him!
So today I am making that change. I am going to start praising the Lord that my children don't pick up after themselves.
I'm going to praise the Lord that my husband is never home anymore, thanks to his job.
I'm going to praise the Lord that I have enough facial hair to grow a beard.
I'm gonna praise the Lord....
